Well known for handling various “LLPK”, SPRM & Criminal Matters, Amin Chambers is a Kuala Lumpur-based law firm that was established in November 2019.
When extraordinary laws are used against ordinary citizens, ordinary defence is never enough. We represent clients in high-stakes criminal and civil litigation, with particular expertise in PREVENTIVE LAW/ DETENTION such as Section 39B (DDA) & Dangerous Drugs Act (Special Preventive Measures) 1985 (known as Akta Dadah Berbahaya [Langkah-Langkah Pencegahan Khas 1985]) or “LLPK” in short; Section 302 of the Penal Code, Financial Services Act & AMLATFPUAA; SOSMA; ATIPSOM; POTA; POCA; SPRM and many more.

Muhammad Amin graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam in 2013 and was immediately invited for internship and subsequently to read at Messrs. Rama-Rozi & Associates at Temerloh, Pahang under the guidance of senior lawyer Datuk Seri M. Ramachelvam.
Since his first day at Messrs. Rama-Rozi & Associates, he was exposed to handling various Criminal Litigation matters and contentious litigation matters in defending the rights of Orang Asli including Judicial Review application against state government to defend the Ancestral Lands of Orang Asli, Court-Appointed cases such as murder (Section 302 of the Penal Code) and many other criminal litigation cases (full trials). Civil Litigation matters includes running down/accident cases and general litigation cases be it in Magistrates Court, Sessions Court, High Court, Court of Appeal as well as Federal Court.
He was admitted and enrolled as an Advocates & Solicitors of the High Court of Malaya in March 2014 as and was then offered to join the firm of Messrs. Mazlifah & Partners at Petaling Jaya, Selangor as Legal Assistant since February 2014. On March 2016, he was made promoted as a Partner at Messrs. Mazlifah & Partners due to his high competency in handling Litigation & Commercial disputes. In December 2018, he joined another law firm before setting up his own firm, Messrs. Amin Chambers in November 2019.
Since then, Mr. Amin has handled various complicated Civil and Criminal Litigation matters and had successfully won cases against renowned law firms. Among others, Land Ownership disputes, Judicial Review, Inheritance law, Injunctions detention without trials (Prevention of Crime Act, Security Offences (Special Measures) Act, Dangerous Drugs Act (Special Preventive Measures) Act, etc.
He is now getting instructions from clients to represent them in Narcotic and various Criminal cases including SPRM cases and financial crimes.
Musfira Mohd Fahmi

Puan Musfira Mohd Fahmi graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam in 2014 and was immediately invited for an Internship at Messrs. Jamadi Fauzi Firdaus Abdullah to handle Corporate & Conveyancing cases such as Sale and Purchase, Loan Documentation, Due Diligence exercise, etc.
She was subsequently invited to read in chambers at Messrs. Shamsuddin & Co. in 2015, handling Criminal Litigation including Habeas Corpus and preventive laws. She then joined Messrs. SG Lingam & Co. in 2016 as Civil Litigation Lawyer.
In 2017, she joined Lembaga Kemajuan Tanah Persekutuan (FELDA) as Legal Executive. She was assigned to draft, vet & advise FELDA on various Agreements, MOU, and projects; to manage administerial matters and compliance; and to liaise with panel solicitors on litigation cases.
She then resumed practice in 2020 as an advocate & solicitor and since then handled various complex civil, criminal and corporate matters. She specialises in complex criminal cases and spearhead our law firm in criminal matters such as Section 39B (DDA); Dangerous Drugs Act (Special Preventive Measures) 1985 / Akta Dadah Berbahaya (Langkah-Langkah Pencegahan Khas 1985) or "LLPK" in short; Financial Services Act 2013; Akta SPRM; AMLATFPUAA; SOSMA; POTA; POCA and others.
Adrian Yeow Way Thiam

Adrian Yeow Way Thiam is an advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and a Barrister-at-Law of Middle Temple. Trained in both Malaysia and the United Kingdom, Adrian brings a measured and detail-oriented approach to dispute resolution and litigation strategy.
His experience includes trial works, appellate matters at the Palace of Justice, impeccable legal research, preparing submissions and flawless cause papers and sharp legal opinions in litigation, with a focus on civil litigation as well as criminal litigation. Adrian is fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu, enabling him to communicate effectively across diverse clients and court officers.
